Placer gold, this nugget was retrieved from the Gold Rush area in California although the original owner would not reveal exactly where. This beauty is all metal, little to no rock present and it weighs in at a massive 279.1 grams. 3" long by 1 1/2" tall by 1 thick it has the beautiful buttery Yellow gold color present, pics to not show well. This nugget is clean, has not been worked and is in its original all natural state.
